…such a successful pastor. And I always say to myself, are you talking about quantity or quality? Who says that the most successful pastor is the one with the most members? The pastor who goes by quality and not by quantity…oh yall ain’t gon talk to me now. So-so all all of a sudden you’re judging on the outer appearance and god is looking at the heart and it could be that the guy in the storefront with 12 members is a more successful pastor because he is qualitative and quantitative.We like it big. We do it big in Texas. I wanna see big. I wanna see big. But I also wanna see quality. So I’m a big man but are you a good man? I found out that you can be strong in your body and weak in your will.

…over there…I wasn’t finna go there I just really wanted to order that shit to-go and get the fuck up outta there. I went in there and they was like ‘du du du du du you gotta go to another location, at the to go order location.’ And I’m like ‘well shit, how long for a table?’ Now I’m fuckin–now I’m like, you wanna play with me? So I’m on my bullshit now. So I’m like ‘well how long for a table?’ ‘Dah dah dah dah dah we’ll put you on the list.’ ‘Well put me on the list.’ I made them put my name down and everything. But what about the bar is it open seating? Yeah it’s open seating. I had somebody with me. It was one seat at the bar. I told them to go sit in the car so I could sit at the bar. I sat there just for about ten minutes just to fuck with em!

Biography
Keyania Campbell is an Applied Intercultural Arts Research student at the University of Arizona. She is studying sonic memories in the American South with emphases on Black sound, ritual, geography, and everyday life. She is from Dallas and enjoys playing music, reading science fiction, and trying new food in her spare time. She is curious about everything on Earth and beyond.
